Metropol CRB was established in Uganda in 2015 after acquisition of an operating license from Bank of Uganda

We are a credit information and debt management company whose core activities are focused on the Credit and Capital Markets.
Metropol assesses the creditworthiness of borrowers: both individuals and corporations, through comprehensive Credit Scoring and Ratings and provides the resultant credit information reports to lenders and trade credit suppliers to enable them make sound credit decisions on their customers. Metropol’s activities in Uganda are driven through its operations as a Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).
We provide CRB services to regulated financial institutions including commercial banks, Credit Institutions and Microfinance Deposit Taking Institutions (MDIs) following the enactment of a legal framework (Amendment to the Banking Act) that mandates banks to share credit performance data on their customers.
